Description
Shilajit, or purified mumiyo, is a unique gift of nature, widely used in the East for the treatment and prevention of a wide range of diseases. Mumiyo is a complex natural organo-mineral complex of biologically active substances.
The mineral part of mumiyo contains about 60 chemical elements – it contains almost all elements of the periodic table of Mendeleyev. The high content of potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, copper, sodium, sulfur, iron and silicon is especially noted. The biochemical composition of mumiyo also includes replaceable and essential amino acids (glutamic acid, glycine, histidine, phenylalanine, methionine, threonine, tryptophan, isoleucine, lysine, arginine, valine, aspartic acid, etc.), monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids (oleic, petroselinic, linoleic, linolenic, etc.), phospholipids, organic acids (hippuric, benzoic, adipic, succinic, citric, oxalic, lichen, kojic, tartaric, etc.), essential oils, resins, steroids, alkaloids, tannins, enzymes, chlorophyll, coumarins, terpenoids, provitamin A, flavonoids (including vitamin P), vitamins B, C and E. Organic part Shilajit is characterized by a high content of humic acids, which make up about 70% of the total mass of mountain balsam.
Mumiyo has a wide range of useful properties: immunomodulatory, regenerative, wound healing, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, fungicidal, antiseptic, anticoagulant, detoxifying, antiallergic, analgesic, choleretic, diuretic, antispasmodic and many others. Mumiyo belongs to the group of natural adaptogens and helps to increase the body’s resistance to adverse climatic conditions, viruses, infections, toxins.
A characteristic feature of mumiyo is its pronounced regenerative and wound-healing effect: shilajit helps improve reparative processes, accelerates granulation and epithelialization of damaged skin, stimulates the regeneration of mucous membranes, cartilage and bone tissue.
The pronounced antibacterial effect of mumiyo is due to the high concentration of organic acids, tannins, sulfur and silver in its composition. Mumiyo, which has a bacteriostatic and bactericidal effect, is very effective in the fight against Staphylococcus aureus, pyogenic streptococci, Escherichia coli, some types of enterococci, as well as pathogens of typhoid, dysentery and diphtheria.
The anti-inflammatory effect of mumiyo is mainly due to the presence of calcium, magnesium, copper, zinc, silicon, selenium, sulfur, cobalt, carotenoids, vitamins E, K, C, tannins, organic and polyunsaturated fatty acids in this organo-mineral balm.
Mumiyo has a general strengthening effect, improves metabolic processes (protein, carbohydrate, fat, water-salt and mineral metabolism), has a beneficial effect on the hormonal background and immune status of the body.
Directions for use: Dilute 3-4 drops of shilajit in a glass of water or tea, take 2-3 times a day or as recommended by a doctor.
